The light in the dark to replenish and advance. The purpose or campfires in these games is to have that sense if relief of reaching it. If you’re farming because you’ve run out of seeds, then I think you’re doing it wrong. There are plenty of shortcuts throughout these maps that alleviate the need to use more seeds than that. I think I used two seeds in Pilgrim’s perch (in the beginning and somewhere half way through the descent), and I used two in Foresaken Fen (in a half-sunken shack half way through and right before the Hushed Saint fight). People keep complaining about running out of seeds, but so far I’ve not had that issue. However, given the rarity of seeds, it’s clear that you’re supposed to use them SPARINGLY. I find them an interesting mechanic because they present a cool risk/reward challenge: do you spend a seed and save progress, or keep pushing to the next Vestige? This is cool because the game litters these flower beds all over the map, and it’s up to you to judge whether or not to use them. I just finished the Hushed Saint and so far have no issues with the flower beds. Pliny! You gonna make a video about this game? I find your reviews of these games to be the most thorough and balanced out there.Īs far as your actual criticism here, I disagree.
